A Holiday to remember We all deserve something to look forward to after a long, wet winter and with all the bad news that we are being bombarded with on a daily basis. The Yorkshire Dales are a fantastic place to get some fresh air and rest and recovery whatever the time of year, but especially in Spring and early Summer with all of the new life that we see at this time of year with lambs, young birds and wildlife in abundance. Imagine waking up to views of green fields and rolling hills in The Yorkshire Dales National Park. Escaping the stresses and strains of everyday life. Hearing the joyful calls of curlew, lapwing and oyster catchers. Enjoying a locally brewed pint and a hearty lunch in one of our three Askrigg village pubs (The Crown, Middle House and Kings Arms) before heading back to one of our two pet free, five star, gold award holiday cottages, being greeted on the way by the locals (it’s what we do round here).
